Remembrance Day at Stirlingshire Crematorium
Stirlingshire Crematorium is holding a special Memorial Service on Wednesday 30 October to mark Remembrance Day.
The event will take place between 7pm and 8.30pm with light refreshments available from 6.30pm.
Those who attend will also be able to write letters or cards which can be placed into the crematorium’s Letters to Loved Ones memorial post box.
No booking is required for anyone to attend the memorial service.
Stirlingshire Crematorium is part of Westerleigh Group, one of the UK’s largest independent owners and operators of cemeteries and crematoria, with 40 sites in England, Scotland, and Wales, all set within beautifully landscaped gardens of remembrance which provide peaceful places for people to visit and reflect.
Crematorium Manager Rachel Norris said: “Honouring lives of people who have passed on is a big part of what we do here and it feels fitting that we should commemorate Remembrance Day. As a nation, it’s important that we never forget those who gave their lives for us.
“Everyone is welcome to join us at our open chapel event to reflect on and remember those who fought and died in the armed forces.
“If you are not able to join us for the service, you don’t have to miss out; it is going to be recorded and will be made available to watch here: https://watch.obitus.com on Sunday 10 November from 11am by entering the following details – Username – dunu3874 – Pin - 492166
